GW2 takes an instanced approach (for open world, world vs world is a bit different). They will create new instances of a map when one starts to get full, then direct users entering into that map into the new instance. This can cause confusion because if you join late you can land on a new map where the “meta” or content isn’t being
I dealing with a bit of a cold so I apologize for the audio. This is the start of of that new player series I talked about. I hope this helps you better unde
You can't freely visit other DCs yet. If you want to play together right now, you can make an alt on the desired data center. You can also transfer your characters to another data center for a fee on Mogstation, but I think that's disabled due to congestion. MarinaraHoe. OP • 2 yr. ago.
China GW2 is like a whole different game. You need specifically a Chinese GW account to play it. If you are on NA servers now, you can continue to play on NA servers. You may find you get better ping from EU servers, so you may wish to move to a EU server. You may find the ping to be acceptable though and you wouldn't need to move.
If you play with friends, play on the same server so you can join the same WvW for the time being. Other than that it doesn't matter everything is a megaserver. Reply reply
You can not not. This is what Alliances is meant to fix. That is why the 2.5-year old announcement thread of that 6-year old project is constantly updated by players in this forum and mostly why WvW players seem unhappy in every other exchange with players in this game. We can not play with our friends who are now scattered over numerous servers.
(kinda like ESO, when you buy an account, you can play on both servers, but with different characters of course). Now since market and many things are already shared in gw2, maybe the wardrobe could be shared between eu and na.Could easily be sold around 20-30$, since this is like a new account technically.
Simply add them to party, get them to stand near the entrance to an area (Near a portal) and rejoin continuously until you're in the same "channel". the best way is to go into Divinity's Reach and click to "Queue" instead of "Join". This will put you in the same instance. Also, you're in a server queue that lets you play the game instead of
